Meet the Team – Maycon Belfort

What is your position at BPD Zenith?

    Technical Maximo Consultant

What led you to choose this career path?

I like new technologies, how things are starting to be connected and how this is changing the world. Hence, being part of the IT area makes me think that I’m contributing to this change.

Which part of your job do you most enjoy?

I had the opportunity to work with different parts of Maximo, such as infrastructure, development, consulting and projects.  I could always learn something from them – but what excites me the most is when I need to learn something new to use in Maximo, such as new integrations, new features or new products.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I like to visit new places, like parks and museums, appreciate nature and travel.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

If you were not a Maximo consultant, what alternative career path would you have chosen and why?

I didn’t think about it before, but I believe I would stay in the IT area.

    What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

I am proud of my certifications.  I have also installed the new Maximo Application Suite.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

After a busy day, I like to unwind by watching Japanese animes.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

You would most likely find me studying something new or visiting new spots.

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

What is a quality that you have cultivated in your career or personal life that has been an important part of your personal or professional development?

Experience is one thing that takes time, and we need to be open for accept that we are wrong. So, I would say that my developed quality is that I have learned to listen to other people. By listening, I could learn from my weakness and continue working to be a better person and a better team player.
