What does a Project Manager do at BPD Zenith?
Project Management:
- Determining rules of engagement, and setting up kick off meetings
- Managing project schedules, keeping projects on time, and on budget
- Delegation of project tasks ensuring appropriate level of authority and responsibility, thorough communication, and ongoing motivation and support to project team members
- Chairing project meetings with internal project team, stakeholders, and clients
- Designing and administering risk mitigation plan
Customer Service:
- Working with customers to ensure project management is on track, progressing as per specifications agreed, implement feedback received
- Building relationships with customers to understand their needs to ensure project outcomes deliver maximum value to customers
Administration and Reporting:
- Reporting on project deliverables, budget tracking and management
- Prepare and present detailed project review reports for Senior Management
- Project cost accounting - tracking, identifying financial discrepancies, managing in line with project scope
As well as process improvement, and internal and client presentations.
What do you need for this role
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Maximo or Asset Management experience is desirable, but not critical
- Degree qualified in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar
- Be able to quickly build rapport and establish strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Big-picture thinking and vision
- Leadership skills to steer, motivate, and support the project team
- Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
- Keen attention to detail
