    BPD Business development recently kicked off the year with our first Sales Enablement day. Typically they are run every 3-4 months and provides the opportunity for all our sales team and senior management to get together with our business partners to openly discuss the current challenges in the market and where is future product development is progressing for both BPD products and those of our key partners. This meeting we had IBM presenting on the progress of The Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and what it continues to offer and TechData assisting with product placement in the market.

    What is very clear is the future value of Maxicloud is in security and the managed service offering, wrapping in future feature pack installs, regular security patching and hosting. This is matched with competitive and flexible pricing to suit your individual requirements. Maximo’s immediate future is wrapping in mobility for every user and analytical views of your asset health. Both of these 2 applications complement the condition assessment business process.

    With over 25 years of Asset Management experience, Mark Michael is responsible for BPD Zenith in Australia and New Zealand. Mark is particularly interested in using data to help the Manager optimise the life and operation of assets. Most recently, he has been working with IBM’s Maximo Asset Management and Internet of Things (IoT) products along with web based tools to enhance the experience for users of the information.
