MaxTECH user group speakers and presentations
We will have several speakers from BPD Zenith including Dr. Craig Bowser, Executive, and me, as well as presenters from IBM and Spire Energy. You’ll hear updates on the Maximo Asset Management V7.6 release and best practices from Chetan Shah from Spire Energy. Sean Stuckless, IBM Internet of Things Senior Software Architect, will give a Maximo Asset Management configuration overview. And you’ll get a walk-through of Maximo serviceability from Anamitra Bhattacharyya, IBM Senior Technical Staff Member.
In addition to the presentations, you can attend a free technical training session to learn how to build a custom application in Maximo Asset Management.
Who should attend MaxTECH?
This event is for all levels of Maximo administrators. The mechanics and concepts covered will help you understand many of the components used in configuring Maximo Asset Management and shows what can be done without customization. We’ve heard from previous students that they’ve been able to take what they learn at this event and implement it right away in their own Maximo systems. Administrators, support people and consultants will learn how to configure Maximo Asset Management so administrators will be able to provide better support for the system.
What are the benefits of attending Maximo user group meetings?
There’s nothing quite like face-to-face interactions with your peers. Attending in-person events offers several benefits.
- Build your skills—when you invest time and energy into adding to your expertise, you’re investing in yourself. We learn and share at every event, so each one of us walks away with increased skills that we can take back to our organizations. And by sharing your skills with other Maximo professionals, you can position yourself as the authority in asset management.
- Network with your peers—I’ve met new people or strengthened relationships with those I already know at every user group meeting I’ve ever attended. And I’ve heard the same from my colleagues. Take this opportunity to chat with other developers and Maximo experts to build your personal and professional network.
- Stay ahead of trends—hear the latest EAM news from the presenters. You can take this information back to your organization so you can work as a team to tackle new challenges.
