As you know, Maximo 7.6 presented more options when setting up launch points but unfortunately IBM didn’t update the out-of-the-box Object Structure DMLAUNCHPOINT to include the attributes that are related to those new settings.
So, for example if you have an “Attribute” launch point script that runs on “Validate” of that attribute, when you package that script/launch point it won’t pick up that setting. Instead it will create the launch point with the default event which is “Run action”. This is a big issue because your scripts will run when they’re not supposed to!
The solution is to include those non-persistent attributes (all except 2) and re-build your packages.
