1. What is your position at BPD Zenith?
“I’ve come back to a hybrid role after my maternity leave. I’m the global marketing manager as well as a business development manager. I am primarily responsible for overseeing BPD’s marketing strategy and regional coordinators and looking after our UK oil and gas clients. No 2 days are ever the same!”

2. What led you to choose this career path? What alternative career path would you have chosen and why?
“I’m a ‘muso’ – I studied music at university, so I’ve always been creative. And I’m a good listener, and I think that’s what marketing is all about. I first started working with BPD in my school summer holidays and the rest is history! I love cooking so perhaps in another life I’d be a chef.”
3. Which part of your job do you most enjoy?
“I love working with our different offices located all over the world and understanding all the local nuisances – what works for one, doesn’t always work for another! Or sometimes you get a really good idea from another region. I really like sharing end user Maximo success stories too at our user groups, seeing how the solution makes a real impact to their businesses.”

4. What do you like about working at BPD Zenith?
“I enjoy the sense of community that comes with the BPD team and the IBM Maximo product. I also love how much the solution has evolved since I first started, I think it was version 7.1, and now we’re looking at integrating IoT and AI. It’s constantly evolving and that keeps it interesting.”
5. What are the values that drive you?
“We have a very delivery focussed ethos at BPD. We always try to do right by our teams and our clients. I also think that good open communication is key to success.”
6. What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
“Spending time with the family – we have a little boy and a dog. I love being outdoors, I do a lot of running and walking. I cook from scratch every day and I’ve recently learned how to make pasta and bread (something that might come in very handy during the current shortage!). Kicking back with a book or putting on a playlist. Visiting friends and traveling.”
7. What’s a work-related accomplishment you’re really proud of?
“Becoming an IBM Champion for the third year in a row! That was pretty cool: https://www.bpdzenith.com/anz/ibm-watson-iot-champion-2020-a-hat-trick/ ”
8. What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
“Walk the dog, go for a run or have a big glass of wine!”
9. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
“Visiting yet another ‘soft play’ or hanging out with friends and family. Watching some shows on Netflix. Maybe in the garden if the weather is nice. Forever walking the dog! I’m never still.”
